AI4IA NCSR “DEMOKRITOS” at CORE Innovation Days 2025

AI4IA participated in CORE Innovation Days, held on 10 December in Athens, an event dedicated to industrial digital transformation and organised by the CORE Innovation Days 2025 and the Twin4Twin EU Project.

Session A: Technology and Innovation for Industry – Adoption, Readiness, Infrastructure, and Opportunities, delivered inspirational speeches from industry and research stakeholders on AI readiness, experimentation infrastructures, and pathways from early adoption to scalable impact. Furthermore, valuable insights into current challenges and opportunities in industrial AI transformation in Greece and beyond were provided. Dr Denia Kanellopoulou presented PHAROS AI Factory Greece’s flagship initiative and highlighted its role in supporting industrial AI adoption and strengthening AI capabilities across Southeastern Europe. NCSR “Demokritos” is the technical coordinator of the project PHAROS and AI4IA is leading the collaboration with EU AI Innovation initiatives and the development of innovation support tools.

Moreover, during the networking sessions, AI4IA’s members Zoey Covatsou and Konstantinos Nikolopoulos engaged in discussions with industry and research stakeholders on AI readiness, experimentation infrastructures, and pathways from early adoption to scalable impact.
